Call for Applications

Who can apply

  • Researchers/Professors
  • PhD students regularly enrolled in one of the doctoral programmes
  • both researcher and PhD students must be affiliated with at least one of the EDUC partner university: University of Paris Nanterre, University of Potsdam, University of Rennes 1, University of Cagliari, Masaryk University, University of Pecs.

To be eligible for participation in a seminar, applicants (both academic staff and PhD students) should be:

  • conducting research in the field of the chosen seminar (all academic disciplines are invited);
  • be prepared to present and discuss their work with peers from the other Universities, and to participate actively and constructively in team discussions;
  • willing to continue cooperation with colleagues of the EDUC Alliance after the seminar.

Application requirements

  • a short CV with contact information
  • a short abstract (max 1500 characters) presenting your research in the area with the indication of maximum 5 relevant publications in the last 5 years
  • optional: a description of your research interest and/or the type of research partnership they are looking for (max 500 characters).

The application must be sent by November 4, 2022, to seminar coordinator Eva Nagyová from Masaryk University via email nagyova@rect.muni.cz. You can use your own word template or download ours.

Participation Cost

There is no fee for the seminars.

EDUC partner universities shall support up to a maximum of seven mobilities per seminar: a maximum of five mobilities for PhD students and a minimum of two for senior researchers.

The home university will reimburse international travel costs of selected researchers, upon receiving the justification documents. Travel and accommodation costs of the selected participants are granted within the project EDUC, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
